About Yarina Lodge

The rainforest is a beautiful but fragile ecosystem in our world, and we all have to play a part in protecting it against deforestation and contamination. Yarina Lodge was founded on this principle, and they share this passion for conservation with all of their guests. As part of the Yuturi Conservation Group, guides strive to teach visitors the importance of the rainforest, and since their inauguration more than a decade ago, they have also become one of Ecuador's best Amazon animal rescue centers.

While you're here, you will enjoy a variety of exciting activities that let you learn about this virgin jungle in the most hands-on way. In addition to participating in responsible tourism, you will have a chance to do truly unique activities, like using a blowgun, having a shamanic experience, and racing down the Manduro and Napo Rivers. Of course, there's a lot of other exciting activities too:

  • Bird watching
  • Fishing for piranhas
  • Night hikes & canoeing
  • Forest hikes
  • Visiting an indigenous community
  • Looking for caimans
  • Visiting the Arcadia Rescue Center
